I'm a versatile professional with an an excellent track record of achievement in equestrian management, training and competition.
I am a registered British Dressage (national level) trainer.
I train horses and riders from novice to advanced dressage. I am also
an experienced horse trials and show jumping competitor and able to
train you for horse trials and grade A show jumping. All my clients find me friendly, knowledgable and approachable. Many have been with me for years and progressed on to the National Championship Finals. One of my younger clients was in the British team for the 2009 European Pony Eventing Championsips.
I am an international Grand Prix dressage competitor for Ireland..
I have
trained with a number of top riders and trainers including Conrad
Schumacher, Carl Hester, George Theodrescue and Richard Davidson.
I have both the BHSI Stable Management and Teaching qualifications and managed and developed some large equestrian facilities.

Before being a freelance Trainer, I was the Director of Riding at
Millfield (1992 - 1995) and Stonar (1988 - 1992). The experience gained
has included:
- design of BHS X-C courses, ménages and many other facilities - training of senior, junior teams for the Hickstead schools show jumping trophy - one of the instigators and design of the Stonar ISODE event (now part of the Horse Trials calender) - organising and running competitions - horse trials, show jumping dressage - setting up BHS exam centres - training students to BHSII standard
In the process I have built up an excellent network of equestrian contacts throughout Europe.
I was runner up in the Young Instructor of the Year competition in 1984 and I have a class 1 HGV
I
am very flexible in my approach and I am experienced in training all
